Data protection declaration

Scope

This data protection declaration informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider Zora Heinicke Wind-Wetter-Zeug, Alter Schlachthof 25A, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany, Enable JavaScript to view protected content., ph. +49 721 33500176 (hereinafter "we","us") on this website (hereinafter "offer"). The legal fundamentals of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Guiding principles

The protection of your privacy is important to us. You can visit our website without giving any personal information. For some of the services offered on these Internet pages (e. g. shop, newsletter, contact form,...) information from you is essential (e. g. invoice, delivery, e-mail address,...). We only use these data for the respective purpose. We do not pass on your data to third parties, unless this is necessary in terms of content (e. g. payment data to a payment service provider). See the following sections for more details.

Access data / server log files

Our web provider collects - like most providers - data about every access to our websites (so-called server log files). This includes, for example: name of the internet page accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, operating system, URL of the previously visited page, IP address and requesting provider. These data do not allow us to draw conclusions about your identity; we use them, if at all, only for statistical purposes and to optimize our website. However, we reserve the right to check them retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete indications.

Cookies

We use so-called cookies on our Internet pages to temporarily store your order data during the ordering process (see section "Online Shop") or to analyze the use of our Internet presence (see section "Use of Google Analytics with anonymization function"). Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. You can use the settings of your browser to determine whether and under which conditions these cookies are accepted.

Einsatz von Google Analytics mit Anonymisierungsfunktion

On our website we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. of 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google". Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i. e. text files that are stored on your computer and thus enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visit, including your (abbreviated) IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google in the United States.

We use Google Analytics on our website with the addition "_gat. _anonymizeIp". In this case, Google will already reduce your IP address within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the European Economic Area Agreement, thereby making it anonymous. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google will use this information on our behalf in order to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services associated with the use of the website and the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent the installation of Google Analytics cookies by the above-mentioned setting of your browser's cookies. In addition, Google offers a opt-out add-on for the most popular browsers, which gives you more control over what information Google collects about the websites you visit. The add-on tells Google Analytics' JavaScript (ga. js) that no information about the website visit should be submitted to Google Analytics. More information about installing this add-on can be found here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

You can also disable Google Analytics by clicking on the link below. In this case, an opt-out cookie will be set that prevents future collection of your data when you visit these web pages with this browser: disable Google Analytics

Contacting us

You can contact us by e-mail and/or through a contact form on our website. We store the information you provide in this form in order to process your request. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

Newsletter

Our free newsletter informs you about Wint-Wetter-Zeug and our special offers about four times a year. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you as well as information such as IP address and date, which allow us to verify that you are the owner of the given e-mail address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter (double opt-in). In order to address you personally in the newsletter, we also ask for your name and first name. The data is stored on our behalf by our newsletter service provider (www.mailchimp.com, The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA) in the USA and used for sending out the newsletter as well as for the double opt-in procedure. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or via e-mail to us, and thus revoke your consent to the storage of your newsletter data.

Online-Shop

Our online shop uses cookies to store the contents of your shopping cart on your computer. These cookies are deleted at the end of the session or after the order has been placed. You can prevent the installation of cookies by the above mentioned setting of your browser; in this case the shop will not work.

In the case of an order, we also collect address and order data. We also store these electronically. We use them only for processing the order.

If you choose to pay via a payment service provider (e. g. Paypal), we will also send your address and order data to this service. In this case, you enter your payment data directly on the (encrypted) website of the payment service provider; we only know if the payment was successful.

Information, revocation, deletion

If you have any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data and about the correction, blocking, deletion or revocation of your consent, you can contact us free of charge. We would like to point out that in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act, you have the right to correct incorrect data or delete personal data if this right is not opposed by any statutory obligation to keep it.
